Unawatuna, Galle, Sri Lanka
Kingfisher Beach sits where Unawatuna Bay narrows into its quietest curve — one of Sri Lanka's most celebrated stretches of coast, where the Indian Ocean softens into clear, sheltered water. We are a small hotel by design: ten rooms, each with a private balcony and an uninterrupted view. A pool at the edge of the garden. A restaurant open to the evening air. The beach begins where the garden ends.

Unawatuna is a small bay village on Sri Lanka's southern coast, seven kilometres east of the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort. The bay is one of the island's most swum beaches: clear water, a gentle shelf, no rip currents. The Japanese Peace Pagoda sits on the headland to the west.
Yala National Park is three hours east. Colombo's Bandaranaike International Airport is two and a half hours north along the Southern Expressway. We arrange private transfers on request.
Ten rooms. One beach. Enquiries answered within 24 hours.
